If you live in a house or have a garden, you’ll be happy about this one. They’re giving away free top soil, but the only catch is that it’s pick up only so you’ll have to get into your truck and go get it yourself or get your buddy who owes you anyways and get him to go get it for you, lol.
They say that it works out to be about 10 wheel barrow loads. So if that’s something you think you would need then this might be just the thing for you.
If I had known about this a few weeks ago, I would have been so happy. I needed top soil and purchased about 5 yards and it cost me about $150. I would much rather have gone for free, nothing beats free. Anyways, I used mine for grading around the house and it worked out really well. Now I just need to figure out how to make the grass seed grow faster, lol.
The soil looks pretty clean and has a good color. I can’t tell if it contains much clay if you do decide to use it for grading purposes because that’s what they say you need. There are a few rocks but it’s easy just to pick them out. Free top soil is great if you need it, and if you can pick it up yourself.
