This is another great freebie for disabled folks. They’re giving away this free Lumex Tub Guard Bathtub Safety Rail for those who have trouble getting in or out of the bathtub. They say that it’s 23 inches tall and fits a bathtub that is 3 inches wide. It also doesn’t say if it’s used or not but that’s nothing a little soap and elbow grease can’t fix. It even comes with the original box too!
Here’s another item I wish I had when it was needed. My husband had surgery a few years ago and was unable to get in and out of the bathtub without my assistance. I never thought of using something like this as I’m sure it would have been quite helpful and gave my husband a bit more privacy.
I looked online to see what something like this would cost and it goes for at least over $30 but that’s for the 12 inch rail. So probably closer to $50. Which makes this a very generous freebie for anyone in need. Maybe a great way to help someone who is just becoming accustomed to being disabled and finding out that it can be expensive to outfit a home with products like these to make living more “normal”.
