I’m not sure if it’s both or just one, but they’re giving away a pair of free Bowflex SelectTech Dumbbells that are broken. It even comes with the stand too! It says that they’re broken and that they might be repaired or used for parts. And judging by the pictures I can’t tell where it’s broken.
I looked online for reviews of the Bowflex SelectTech dumbbells and there are quite a few positive comments. But for the odd negative one, people are saying that there are some plastic pieces within the dumbbell that seem to break and crack easily. One of these pieces are the spindles that pick up and hold each plate in place, and if you drop the weights from a certain height, then they’re more likely to break. That’s a scary thought if you’re lifting the heaviest weights over your head and one of the plates falls off and hits you. Yikes! But regardless of the odd nagative review, this product seems to have a lot of high star reviews.
If you were to buy these dumbbells for full retail value, you’re looking at over $400 with the stand! But, if they are broken beyond repair they just might make a good paper weight, lol. Still it might be worth checking out this free broken Bowflex SelectTech Dumbbells especially if you were thinking about getting them anyways.
