I figured I’d put this on just because I thought there might be someone interested. They’re giving away this free Medtronic Mio Infusion Set, it’s just for one box and it doesn’t say if it has been opened or not. It also doesn’t mention if they’ll deliver it or it’s pick up only. I guess they’ll have to be contacted.
I believe this Medtronic Mio Infusion Set is for people who have diabetes, I’m not sure what else it would be used for. It’s for insulin pump therapy and this set contains thin plastic tubing that delivers insulin from the pump to the body. Sometimes the tubing can be different lengths and I’m not sure if you can make the adjustment yourself or you need to buy it like that. At the end of the tube is a cannula or a stainless steel needle, ouch! You would put this cannula under your skin to help deliver the insulin and can stay in place for up to 3 days.
I looked up some of the Medtronic products and they look like they can be very expensive. If your a diabetic and could use a break, maybe get this free Medtronic Mio Infusion Set, otherwise leave it for someone who can use it.
