This is really special and kind of sweet! They’re giving away this free wedding lazo cord that’s only been used once for a wedding. They say that it’s made of satin braid and in excellent condition! It really does look beautiful, I like the little arrangements of flowers. Whoever made this did a very good job.
For those of you who are not sure what a wedding lazo (aka lasso, yugal, cord) is, it’s a wedding piece that’s used in Christian/Catholic wedding ceremonies. I think it’s suppose to represent rosary beads. It is then turned into a figure 8 and placed around the neck of the bride and groom after the vows. It’s suppose to symbolize everlasting and lifetime unity. Normally it’s kept by the bride as a souvenir but in this case for whatever reason, they want to give it away. Hopefully it’s filled with positive energy or a good luck charm from a previously happy marriage 🙂
